President's messageThe 2007 Australian Packaging Awards (APA) are open to the entire packaging supply chain. As the cover suggests - Brand owners, designers, printers, manufacturers, producers, transport and logistics and retailers; not to mention the SME's and foodies. In fact, anyone involved in the packaging process. These Awards provide organisations in the packaging supply chain with the opportunity to showcase their creations on a national stage. Success at the APA has helped previous winners - attract new clients, reward employees, boost their company profi le within the industry and help draw the best talent to their organisation. The Presentation Dinner will be held at the Grand Hyatt Hotel, Melbourne on Thursday, 4th October 2007. This event is the highlight of the packaging industry calender and is always sold out well in advance. Other Awards announced on the evening will be the Packaging Achiever of the Year Award, Inaugural QLD Schools Packaging Design Challenge and the Southern Cross Package Design Awards for students.
